The Witness

This book is a Nora Roberts which combines a romance between Abagail/Elizabeth and Brooks.  Nora Roberts does a fantastic job of combining a fast paced plot with a good romance.  That's The Witness.  The romance part can be tough to stomach if you really desire a relationship with some romance and you don't have one.  Personally, it's frustrating.
