The Storyteller

The Storyteller is Jodi Picoult's new book.  As with Ms. Picoult's books, there are many characters whose lives become entwined in the book.  It's nice how she does that.  There is Sage, the baker.  Her grandmother was in a Holocaust survivor.  Leo, the agent Sage calls to report that she has met someone who was an SS officer.  Josef, Sage meets Josef at a grief group he is the former SS officer who would like Sage to help him die.  All of their stories come together in this heartfelt book that centers around Sage's grandmother's story from that horrific period of time.
